Just discovered your blog as I was doing a search re railroad’s role in opening the west (Montana specifically) and the questionable marketing they used to get it done.

I’m looking forward to getting acquainted with you and your work.

I grew up in a dryland-Montana farm household headed by a 2nd generation Dane with an 8th grade education who honored and read history, and thought it mattered that we pay attention to what is going on around us.

  2. Just came across your fine blog & have bookmarked it for future reference. I started my own blog on JFK last November & would be honored if you & your readers would check it out. JFK50 highlights “events of the day in history” with emphasis on JFK but also includes major US/World events in history.
    Thanks.
